Over the past half century, Bark Packaging Group has developed itself from a packaging company into a value-added service supplier.
We have grown thanks to our knowledge and skills and have been able to add more and more companies to our firm. Scroll through the timeline to see a selection of the main events of our company.

Trade in packaging
The sale of Schütz IBCs, steel and plastic drums, all primarily for liquid products as its main activity.

Expansion into hazardous substances + quality marks
Expansion into tinplate packaging, buckets & UN-approved cardboard packaging for the transport of hazardous substances

Expansion strategy
Acquisitions of companies like Pal-Con Plastics and Duo Plast as part of the expansion strategy to become a total supplier and knowledge partner.

Relocation
The Bark premises relocate in Apeldoorn to meet the increase in turnover.

Introduction of our Outsourcing Concept
Introduction of the Outsourcing Concept in the Benelux packaging market, whereby the entire packaging management (or its aspects) is taken over from companies.
- 2006
Acquisitions
Through steady autonomous growth and strategic acquisitions, we acquire Van Lit Packaging and De Vries Verpakkingen.
- August 2010
Relocation
Relocation from Apeldoorn to Eerbeek, mainly due to increased growth in the outsourcing concept.
- November 2010
Bark Innovations is born
Foundation of Bark Innovations, with core activities being the redesign of packaging and the development of new packaging concepts.
- 2012
Warehouse expansion
Start of warehouse expansion in Eerbeek, from 6,000 m2 to 8,000 m2 with a height of 14 metres. The new situation offers a total of 12,000 pallet spaces.
- 2017
Welcome to Dutch Pack International
Acquisition of Dutch Pack International, specialist in flexible packaging.
- 2018
Bark Packaging Group is founded
We are now officially a family. Bark Innovations, Bark Verpakkingen and Dutch Pack International together form the Bark Packaging Group.
- 2019
Bark Verpackungen is born
Bark Verpackungen in Stuttgart is founded to enter the international market. It’s a new member of the Bark Packaging Group and our first company outside the Netherlands.
- 2021
Welcome to CarePack Holland
Acquisition of CarePack Holland, specialist in the packaging of hazardous substances. This is yet another new member of the Bark Packaging Group.
